I was procrastinating at work, like I always do and I came across one of my friend’s Tumblr. I had no idea she had one and that one of her posts was made out to me!
I’ve known her for over 5 years now and I love her to bits :) She’s like my little sister, but also a very dear friend to me.
Love you Katelyne <3
P.S I had to delete that first photo from 5 years ago - I look...
I’m the only thing I’m afraid of…
the heavy addiction
7 days, 168 hours, 10,080 minutes, 604,800 seconds
That’s how long DRe and I are giving up Facebook for.
I think it will do me more good than him. Because if you know me, then you’ll know that I’m constantly on Facebook. But, you’ll also know that I’m always up for a challenge.
Game on.
Its on like Donkey Kong.
salt that slug
the first half of the year is always a treat. filled with public holidays and long weekends, who can complain. so what did january have in store for us? australia day. a good half if not more of the aus population took the monday off, or on more technical terms, took a “sickie” and apparently stuffed up the economy for the next how ever many months, but who cares. we’ll be...

the sound of silence
after one too many EVE filled fridays and long saturdays at friends houses, i decided to keep it low key this weekend and stay at home. spend time with my loved ones and catch up on some sleep. and did i ever.
friday - charcoal chicken, beers & some 13 made a good night in with friends.
saturday - a new phone, guitaring & pho hoangs broken rice welcomed sleepiness. my naps which end up...
born and bred
i’ve been to sydney a gazillion times. and each time i go, i dislike it a little bit more. even though i was born in sydney, i was definitely not bred in sydney. burn city all the way baby.
note to self: early flights always seem like a good idea at the time, but in reality, never is.
the weather was amazing and the day was filled with lots of walking. seeing sights i havent seen and going...
goodbyes, the random five, ms marvel & brown brown
another weekend come, another weekend gone.
friday - after work i made my way to tams apartment on chapel st, because we both had a farewell to go to on the westside. but that didnt start till 7 or so, so we decided to chill for abit, watch some will & grace and home make some gourmet pizzas.
our friend linda was leaving to perth for good on sunday night. she had found a course there that...

feleven:
another saturday gone, another saturday to look forward to. the day started in the afternoon for me. met up with the guys at mvrk’s house for some beers & youtubing until hunger struck all of us. with our friends from the west visiting, we took them to turbo noodles, praising on how good it was. despite the turbo lag in waiting for our noodles boxes, it was worth the wait for all...
twenty questions, cheap eats & girl love
my favourite game. kills time and you can ask any question you want. you get to see the face behind the facade.
tuesday night - mickey had asked me a few weeks back if i wanted to go see sherlock holmes. and this week being back at work and him off the meds and semi recovered, we decided to make a date and go watch it and have some dinner.
we watched sherlock holmes in the extreme screen cinema....
minolta x-700
so i finally decided to scan and upload my photos that i’ve taken with my minolta. out of 125 printed photos, i chose 75. those are on facebook. but, here are my favourite shots.

food for thought
So I was at leaders meeting tonight, and Yen came over later on as well. And as I retold her what was discussed at the meeting, it dawned on me.
The only reason why we struggle is because we’re not willing to give it up. So …. then am I not really cut out for the life that I thought I was?
real life
i got to see my friend from perth this year. whom i see once every two years. we didnt speak much, we did the usual hello, how are you spiel, what have you been up to how’s uni, how’s work, and he showed me the new chicken. which is now the woodpecker, but other than that, we didn’t converse much or we didn’t really “click” much this time round. probably also...
don't mess with this kid
i decided to go visit my brother, sister in law and my baby niece as its been quite some time since i’ve seen them all and i was especially missing my little, not so little, niece lara.

she is one heck of a chubby baby. 4 months and 1 week.
it was all a blur
in the past week, i’ve got to say, i’ve pretty much wasted my annual leave. woken up at 12, rolled out of bed at 2, and eaten at 3 or 4pm. now if that isnt the definition of lazy, i dont know what is. but you know what, i dont care. i love my sleep and thats what i do best.
but - just to have proof that i was semi productive on my holidays, here is whats been going on.
on wednesday...
the good times
today i hauled my ass out of bed at 2pm and ventured up to the city at 3:30pm. would you expect any less from a person who is on holiday from a dead end unmotivated full time office job? answer is no.
i met up with the boys who are here from perth, but my trip up to the city was really to meet up with my one and only ben. in another life me and ben would’ve been great - so he says lol.

the tin man
our beloved tin was back from adelaide and on break from his normal duties of serving the country in the army. not the defence force, but the actual army.
today was the first time i saw him since christmas (which i only got to see him briefly) and i got to spend a good hour or so with him.
ive always had this perception that tin doesnt love us anymore. that he’s become bored of us. that...
